Stakeholder Workshops in Odivelas Advance Local Problem Identification

On 1 and 29 April 2026, All@CityScape organised two stakeholder workshops at the Odivelas Multiusos Pavilion, extending the project’s collaborative activities to the Municipality of Odivelas.

Building on the collaborative work initiated during the project’s launch phase, the workshops focused on the identification of local challenges, perceptions and priorities related to public space and urban landscape. Using focus groups and participatory dynamics, participants explored issues specific to the Odivelas context and contributed perspectives intended to inform the project’s ongoing research activities.

These sessions reinforce the project’s commitment to stakeholder engagement and context-sensitive knowledge production, supporting research grounded in local realities and diverse experiences

New partnership with Odivelas Municipality strengthens collaborative efforts linked to All@CityScape

On 11 March, CITUA–IST signed a collaboration agreement with the Municipality of Odivelas as part of a separate project focused on Landscape Reading. Given the strong thematic and methodological connections with All@CityScape, the project expanded its collaborative efforts to include this new partnership. Following the collaboration model already established with Lisbon City Council (CML), related activities and research work will also be carried out with the Municipality of Odivelas (CMO).

Research in the GDPR Era: Ethical Challenges in the Use of Technologies for Personal Data Analysis

On January 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the seminar Research in the GDPR Era: Ethical Challenges in the Use of Technologies for Personal Data Analysis took place at the Abreu Faro Auditorium, Instituto Superior Técnico (Alameda). The seminar addressed the ethical and practical challenges of data protection in scientific research, highlighting the use of technologies for personal data analysis and the requirements for compliance with the GDPR.

Kick-off Stakeholder Workshops Launch All@CityScape Collaborative Process

Between December 2025 and January 2026, All@CityScape held three stakeholder workshops at CIUL – Centro de Informação Urbana de Lisboa, a key partner of the project, marking an important milestone in its launch phase.

The workshops brought together stakeholders from different institutional, technical and community backgrounds to support the early development of the project’s collaborative framework. Through focus groups, participatory discussions and co-creation dynamics, participants contributed to the identification of key urban challenges, research priorities and methodological directions.

As a central component of the project’s start-up phase, these sessions helped establish a shared basis for collaboration, aligning stakeholder perspectives with the project’s research objectives and preparing the ground for subsequent activities developed across different territorial contexts.
