Urban landscape and identities in multicultural cities: Exploring the public space

Contemporary cities are increasingly shaped by social and cultural diversity, raising new challenges for understanding how public space is perceived, experienced and negotiated. This research explores how multicultural urban environments influence landscape identity, social interaction and everyday urban experience.

Combining digital technologies with human-centred and participatory approaches, the project investigates urban dynamics across city, neighbourhood and site scales, aiming to support more inclusive approaches to urban planning, design and public space governance.
